Like most of the small towns in Southern Nova Scotia, Broad Cove, NS was initially settled by Acadians in the mid-1600s. Forestry,farming and milling for both industries were the primary activities in our community and continue on a smaller scale today.
Broad Cove Hall holds regular events throughout the peak summer months, attracting visitors in search of a peaceful and scenic locale for a family getaway. Among the attractive offerings in our community is Broad Cove Beach, a nice private sand area that is partially protected by the cove so the water stays relatively calm.
