Bangs Falls
In the face of the Acadian expulsion and resettlement of the area by Protestants from 1755-1764, Bangs Falls, NS, was a gathering point for the Catholic mass well into the 19th century. Early residents mostly engaged in farming and lumbering, making use of the Medway River to ship their goods.
Today, Bangs Falls is a quiet residential community where Bangs Falls Road intersects with Medway River Road. Nearby features that provide recreation for residents and visitors to the area include the Greenfield Dragway and Bear Falls Wilderness Campground.
