We always try to help everyone in Nova Scotia achieve the healthiest hearing possible. We know how important hearing is to our everyday lifestyle as a primary avenue of communication.

We use it for our personal lives and for our careers. Only once your hearing is damaged do we realize the significance of it.

With 1 in 4 Canadians suffering from hearing loss, this is a problem that is more prominent than it should be. On average, people will wait seven years before seeking treatment for their issue.

We hope to end that trend by giving out hearing aids to those who need them most.

How Does the Contest Work?

We asked everyone in our community to nominate anyone who they think will benefit from hearing aids. Those who received the most nominations would be awarded a pair of hearing aids at no cost.

This competition took place throughout May and was our 4th annual iteration. It’s only gaining popularity, so we hope you’ll join in next year or continue to participate.

And the Winners Are…

Paul

Paul is such an incredible father and grandfather to his sweet grandkids. Having these hearing aids will help him enjoy his daily life and the special moments he spends with his family.

Paul is probably the most selfless around. He constantly helps everyone else in whatever way he can.

He has four grandchildren he loves beyond measure, but his hearing loss means he’s missing their sweet words, even when he’s in the room.

He struggles with severe diabetes and other health ailments that always take up the budget long before he gets a chance to think about the hearing aids he so desperately needs.

These hearing aids will fulfill his life beyond measure as the lucky recipient of this gift!!

Marshall

Marshall is doing very well with his new hearing aids, and he loves how they help so much. He is very thankful for this opportunity.

Marshall’s hearing loss was discovered when he was five years old. He is now 40, so he’s been wearing hearing aids most of his life.

He also has some special needs, which has put him in a position of not being able to have a daily job to earn income that would allow him to purchase hearing aids.

He has always taken pride in his hearing aids and has accepted them as part of his life. He has an awesome personality and is very kind.

Winning these new hearing aids has been a prayer answered. His current hearing aids have seen better days and were coming to an end.

Marshall is so very grateful and is a well-deserving recipient who will take full advantage of this gift.

Winner! Mr Marshall

Congratulations again to both our winners. Please contact us with all your questions, as we are here to help as much as possible.
