At Provincial Hearing, we believe that providing exceptional hearing care is about more than just having the right qualifications and experience (although those things are certainly important!). It’s also about creating a welcoming and comfortable environment where patients feel heard, understood, and supported.

That’s why we take great care to ensure that our patients feel comfortable and at ease from the moment they walk through our doors. We understand that hearing loss can be a sensitive and sometimes emotional issue, and we want our patients to know that they can trust us to provide the care and support they need.

To achieve this, we work hard to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our clinic, with friendly staff, comfortable waiting areas, and state-of-the-art equipment.

Our team of experienced hearing care professionals takes the time to get to know each patient on a personal level, listening to their concerns, answering their questions, and working with them to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets their unique needs and goals.

We understand that visiting a healthcare provider can be a stressful experience. That’s why we strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our clinic, from the moment you walk through our doors. To help make your visit even more enjoyable, we’ve recently reintroduced a special touch that we think you’ll appreciate.

Care and Compassion in Clinics

It’s the little things that truly set us apart.

Today, we’re excited to announce that our beloved team has resumed their tradition of baking cookies for our patients!

This delightful gesture was temporarily put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we’re thrilled to welcome back the sweet aroma and taste of our cookies.

While it might seem like a small thing, these homemade cookies are a symbol of the care and compassion we have for our patients. They’re a comforting reminder that at Provincial Hearing, we treat everyone like family, and we’re always looking for ways to brighten our patients’ day.

So, whether you’re coming in for an advanced diagnostic hearing evaluation, a hearing technology consultation, or any of our other expert services, you’ll be greeted with not only a warm smile but also a delicious cookie.

This is just one more reason why choosing Provincial Hearing for your hearing care needs is a decision you won’t regret.

Annette Cross, BC-HIS CEO and President of Provincial Hearing

Annette grew up in a farming family and was familiar with hearing loss because it was in her family. Finding hearing care very interesting, and after gaining more than 10 years of management experience, she started working in the industry in 1992 as a secretary. Her passion and dedication to help enhance lives through better hearing has only grown more since those days. In 1997, Annette had the opportunity to purchase Provincial Hearing from owner Don Allen. Since then, she has grown the business to three locations — Bridgewater, Truro, and Kentville. Provincial Hearing is proud to be one of the oldest locally/family-owned clinics in Nova Scotia, and Annette contributes the clinics’ success to her team’s provision of honest, personalized patient care and their desire to always stay on top of the latest advancements in the hearing industry.
