Sivantos Hearing Aids
One of several hearing aid manufacturers that developed out of the innovations of telegraphic instrument manufacturer Werner von Siemens’ amplified telephone receiver, Sivantos brand hearing aids use some of the world’s most advanced technologies built on this 150+ year foundation.
Acquired by Sivantos, the first Siemens hearing devices were the Phonophor, sold before World War II, the Auriculette hearing aid in 1959 and the first ITE device, the Siretta 339, shortly after. The success of these instruments made it possible for Sivantos to capture the European, North American and Asian markets prior to the 1970s.
With technologies like Binax, Sivantos accelerated the development of smart products and applications that provide practical and convenient benefits for people struggling with hearing challenges. Sivantos’ merger with Widex in 2019, which established WS Audiology, augmented the company’s innovative foundation, making them a premier large-scale, worldwide hearing aid manufacturing partnership.

Sound Processing by Sivantos
The e2e wireless technology included in Binax hearing aid processing systems shares and balances incoming sound data between your two hearing aids in order to simulate binaural hearing using an eight-microphone network (four per hearing aid). Sivantos’ sound processing also provides solutions for common sound quality and speech clarity issues through the use of technologies like Narrow Directionality, Spatial Speech Focus, eWindScreen binaural and High Definition Sound Resolution in order to enhance your hearing aid experience.
Sivantos’ Hearing Aid Features
Included in Sivantos’ broad selection of RIC, CIC and BTE devices that operate on the OVP platform are both instant fit and custom formed configurations and include Bluetooth streaming and connectivity that allows you to link your hearing aids to your smartphone and other digital devices. In combination with the TeleCare app, connectivity allows hearing aid wearers to stay up to date with their hearing care provider for ongoing counselling and support without the necessity of an in-office consultation.
